Our special project Veteran Volunteers give back to the Veteran community in a very special way.
As part of the national organization, We Honor Veterans, Caris works closely with our veteran patients and veteran groups. We provide recognition ceremonies to honor their time in service.
As a special projects veteran volunteer there are some very special ways you can become involved. For instance:
Be an important part of providing certificates and pins to our veteran patients and veteran groups
Assist with Memorial Day services
Assist with veteran day activities
Hospice is a special way of caring for terminally ill patients and their families.
Since our service area covers a wide area of SWVA counties, you can serve the veterans right in your community!
