ORGANIZATION: Caris Healthcare

Military Veterans can volunteer for one of life's most rewarding, most fulfilling, most life affirming missions--serving as a Veteran-to-Veteran Hospice Volunteer!

We are currently recruiting veteran volunteers willing to share their time, talents, friendship and support with fellow veterans.

Our Veteran Volunteers give their time and compassion to our veteran patients and families dealing with end-of-life care needs. This is a non-medical position that has a very important requirement, being a friend when a friend is needed most.

All of our hospice volunteers receive training to ensure that they feel comfortable performing their requested/assigned care activities.

There is a patient near you, at home, in a nursing facility or assisted living community, waiting for you to be their friend! Call today!

All volunteer candidates are subject to a background check and TB Screen prior to beginning service with our organization. Our agency will cover the cost of the background check and TB Screen.
