Momentum Collective Inc. (MC Inc.) is partnering with the Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority to provide Afterschool tutoring support to elementary and middle school youth who live in subsidized housing in Alexandria, VA. Volunteers are asked to commit to 1 hour per week to assist students in mastery of English Language arts and Mathematics content standards. Typical availability would be Monday through Friday starting at 4:00pm, but weekend options are available if the served family has a need. This opportunity is also virtual. Volunteers must also be prepared to participate in ongoing training around student engagement and education best practices.
