2021 Energy Walk

After a year off due to COVID, MitoAction is so excited to be back in person for the 17th annual Energy Walk in Boston! This year brings an exciting change of venue - the Franklin Park Zoo! We look forward to welcoming the Boston community, patients, families, caregivers and more, to raise awareness and vital funds to support families affected by mitochondrial disease.

We are looking for volunteers to help our team with the following activities:

1) 6:00 am - 7:30 am - Setup (4 volunteers)
2) 6:00 am - 8:00 am - Registration (5 volunteers)
3) 8:30 am - 11:00 am - Kids craft activities (5 volunteers)
4) 8:30 am - 10:00 am - Takedown - signage (2 volunteers)

We prefer individuals who are fully vaccinated as some of our attendees will be immune compromised. Masks will be required for the duration of the event. Temperature checks will be taken of all attendees. Volunteers will have all day access to the Franklin Park Zoo when they are done with their shift.
