Please visit the new page to apply.
The Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Indiana Chapter is seeking connected volunteers in the Lafayette community. We are looking for someone that knows and would be willing to invite community leaders, community " movers and shakers ," community organization leaders (Rotary, Philanthropic Chairs, Lions Club, etc.), memory care workers/caregivers or those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease or dementia to join us for lunch. Who do you know?
We would like to create a Leadership Roundtable in your area to discuss who you might know (sphere of influence) that would want to support the Alzheimer's Association by promoting or participating in The Longest Day campaign.
The Longest Day is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. The day with the most light is the day we fight to end Alzheimer’s ! On June 21, 2022 thousands of participants from across the world will be recognized for fighting the darkness of Alzheimer's through an activity of their choice. These individuals, groups, teams, organizations, and/or companies will create a do-it-yourself fundraiser by doing something they already do, or enjoy, and turn it into a fundraiser. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness throughout the year for the care, support, advocacy and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Who do you know? You will work together with the Association Staff Partner to determine the date and location, and all you have to do is invite and have five (five) people accept to attend a 90 minute lunch with us to brainstorm how we can grow The Longest Day campaign in Indiana. These five attendees will need to be from diverse backgrounds, industries, etc. And, lunch is on us!
