All reading mentors must be masked and practice social distancing. We also recommend that volunteers are vaccinated against COVID-19. In some cases, we may provide this service virtually.
Reading Mentors will be asked to share their passion for reading with students in the after-school programs at Brevard Public Schools and other community youth programs.

Description
Brevard County's United Way has been in operation since 1957. For 50 years we have supported our member agencies and promoted the coordination and management of volunteers. We are very involved in disaster preparation and response, financial education, support for our 2-1-1 and helping to develop future leaders.
