Braid Mission’s Cards of Hope program collects handwritten cards for foster youth living in residential facilities. We receive several hundred cards per month from card writers around the world. The Cards of Hope volunteers help prepare these cards to be sent out.

Cards need to be counted, sorted by major type, screened for content, and mailed to our service partner/distributor. Along the way, you will get to read sweet messages that folks have written to foster youth.

We have a separate office/storage area where this would all happen, and we will make sure volunteers have keys to come and go at their convenience. We just need to offer a brief initial orientation to the process.

We need a volunteer who can commit to at least two hours per week, though more hours can be available.
