Hey all,
CEO of Be More Adaptive here. Last year during COVID, the beginning of our All-Adaptive Database was being built. This project is a virtual project that can be done from anywhere. It is extremely important and also confidential.
We are looking for a couple of experience database coders to rebuild the bones of our database as it was deleted amidst the chaos of the last year and a half. We are also looking for a grant writer or two to take on the funding side of this project as there are costs involved to maintain the database.
If you have an extensive background in building databases or in grant writing, we could use your help. Though the database was lost, we still have the "how-to" guidelines and budget analysis which is a great starting point.

It is our mission to help the world be more adaptive, accessible, and profoundly knowledgeable about the adaptive community. Be More Adaptive has been created for the purposes of having one location to fill adaptive needs. If there is to be anything adaptive or relating to the adaptive community, it can be found here at Be More Adaptive. It is also BMA's desire to connect all other adaptive nonprofits in one place so that resources can be utilized together. Be More Adaptive is made by the adaptive community, for the adaptive community, with an adaptive future as the goal.
Description
Be More Adaptive began as a Facebook group called "The World of Adaptive Sports and Fitness." It originally pertained to only sports and fitness topics and people with physical differences. We saw the need for everything relating to the adaptive community to be in one central location. After a year of success as a group, we made the move to be a nonprofit as we as to expand what we cover. We now cover all disabilities including temporary and all life topics. Our main goal is to create ease of access to resources for the adaptive community and to make the world more accessible. Through collaborate partnerships and working with the community, we bring the adaptive world even closer. As a group and an organization, we have successfully brought the community together and provided the information necessary to find resources that are available. As we obtain funding, we will also take part in using that funding to create more resources. If a resources doesn't exist, we aim to make them exist.

- Background Check
- 5 hours a week minimum until the structure of the database is complete. Then only occasional maintenance.
- May be required to have team meetings and planning sessions, must have computer access and internet, and will have to sign a confidentiality waiver.
