The Balloon Museum is seeking volunteers for the 2021 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta!
General Volunteer Information: Balloon Museum Fiesta Volunteers are required to sign up for and attend a minimum of three shifts during the Balloon Fiesta from Saturday, October 2, 2021, to Sunday, October 10, 2021.
Perks: Balloon Museum Fiesta Volunteers who sign up for and attend three shifts will receive the following:
- (1) Balloon Museum Lanyard
- (1) Balloon Museum T-Shirt
- (1) Parking Pass
- (1) 2021 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta General Admission Ticket
- Great View of Albuquerque’s Most Iconic Event!
Positions: Support the museum as a Welcome Greeter, Shift Support (Floor), Shift Support (Lawn), or an Elevation Station Assistant (Exhibit). Support the museum foundation as a Dining Event Greeter, Courtesy Shuttle Driver, or Museum Shoppe Assistant.
Requirements: Background Check, Volunteer Agreement/Waivers, and 2021 Balloon Museum Volunteer Training.

The mission of the museum is to inspire a spirit of exploration, discovery, and achievement through experiences that engage our visitors in the history, science, sport, and art of ballooning.
Description
Named in honor of Albuquerque's pioneering aeronauts Maxie Anderson and Ben Abruzzo, the museum opened in 2005, and has since welcomed over one million visitors from across New Mexico, the United States, and around the world.
The Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum is home to one of the most complete collections of artifacts, images, and stories from the world of ballooning. The Museum features new exhibits that explore the past, present, and future of ballooning, as well as subjects related to the science, engineering, and technology of lighter-than-air aviation and other innovative forms of flight.
The Balloon Museum seeks to serve our audiences in unique, meaningful ways in order to sustain the relevance, popularity, and permanence of the museum, and we recognize the responsibilities that come from serving diverse audiences. Through our education programs and events, we strive to encourage learners to be critical thinkers in order to unlock knowledge and understanding now and in the future.

- Shifts range from 1.5 - 5 hours. Balloon Museum Fiesta Volunteers are required to sign up for and attend a minimum of three shifts during the 2021 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta from Saturday, October 2, 2021, to Sunday, October 10, 2021.
