Horizon Hospice is looking for volunteers to visit patients and or give respite to caregivers. We especially need you if you are available during some weekday hours so that caregivers can go on appointments or run errands. Being a hospice volunteer is a rewarding and meaningful experience for volunteers and the families they serve. If you are 18 years and older, enjoy visiting and listening to others life stories, holding a hand, reading or being of comfort to others, you would be perfect for this opportunity. We have single, married, as well as retired couples who enjoy serving together as volunteers, we invite all to serve with us. Should you sing, play an instrument, speak another language or other special talents that can be shared, we encourage you to do so in your service, should you be so inclined. Orientation training is free. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you for considering us in your choice of service. We have offices in St George & Cedar City and are looking for volunteers in both areas. If you are interested in either Cedar or St. George, please feel free to respond. I'm only in the office about 12 hours a week, so it may take a few days for me to get back with you.
