Echelon Membership and Communications Chairperson -Board of Directors:

Echleon’s Leadership Team is integral in shaping the Minneapolis/St. Paul chapter of The Salvation Army’s young professional group. The Membership and Communications Chairperson is responsible for maintaining an accurate membership database and actively seeking new members. The chairperson is responsible for maintaining the Echelon chapter’s social media accounts and for the creation and dissemination of content to the larger Echelon membership to foster a sense of engagement.

Program Overview:

Echelon is a community of diverse young adults collectively rising up to serve our community through the mission of The Salvation Army in service, fundraising, fellowship and ministry. Members will build their network and develop professionally through opportunities to exchange ideas and hear from local leaders in the community.

Description

The Salvation Army offers social services and recreational programs with the goal of addressing specific physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of each family, individual, child/youth, or elderly person. Services provided include, but not limited to: emergency food shelves, school supply programs, rental/utility assistance, educational programs, outreach to the homeless, family and youth camping, community center programs, Christmas assistance programs, nursing home visitations, corrections programs, and disaster services. We are Here to Help!
