Every Monday Wednesday and Friday we distribute bags of food to the local community.
Individuals will walk up to the Family Shelter and receive a bag of food items that have been donated to us. We need volunteers to help with this program. Below you will find some of the roles and responsibilities that you will be assisting with:
Preparing bags of food donations for community distribution.
Greeting and distributing food bags to walk-up community members
Organizing the community food pantry and donations (some heavy lifting, up to 25/30lbs)
Helping to receive, unload and store, food and donations.

REQUIREMENTS
- Background Check
- Must be at least 18
- 1 shift per week minimum (10:45am-1:15pm) Monday/Weds/Fri We hope that volunteers will be present more than the minimum commitment but we understand that you have other obligations and we value any amount of time that you can contribute.
- There is a background check and paperwork we will fill out upon meeting. There are children present on-site, all staff and volunteers must have a background check clearance prior to 16 hours of work.
