Mychal's Learning Place needs help at our HalloweenDrag Queen Bingo fundraiser this year!
As a volunteer come hear about our mission and how we are supporting youth and young adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and dreams. You'll help us pull together all the parts of a successful, fun fundraiser on the day of our event. Our shifts include:
- Set up
- Check-in
- Bartenders
- Take down

Mychal’s Learning Place provides the support, training and opportunities to youth and young adults with developmental disabilities to build their independence and pursue their goals and dreams.
Description
Mychal's Learning Place is committed to fulfilling the needs of the whole community and providing an accessible place for children, adults, and families to call home. Operating from two locations - a primary site in Hawthorne as well as an additional site in Culver City - Mychal's Learning Place recognizes that by challenging children to succeed and having high expectations as they reach adulthood, we are empowering them to live independent, fulfilled, and productive lives. We emphasize interactive and inclusive environments; learning activities that will transfer to life-long independent living skills, job skills necessary for gainful employment, self-respect and knowledge of individual strengths and empowerment through education.
