New Hudson Hospice Patient Needs Help: Volunteer!
A hospice patient in New Hudson, Michigan, needs visitors--like you! Be the person who makes all the difference to her and her family. Volunteer with Heartland Hospice.
Volunteers must be at least 18-years-old to visit patients. Heartland requires all volunteers to get the annual flu shot. Every volunteer, while visiting patients, must wear the surgical mask Heartland provides. Those who do not have the COVID vaccine must wear an N95 mask and face shield (provided by Heartland for free) and get COVID tested twice weekly. Volunteers must complete two TB skin tests (available for free in the Heartland office), a drug screening and a fingerprint background check (all paid for by Heartland). Heartland provides extensive training to ensure volunteers are fully prepared for their work.
