National Public Lands Day is traditionally the nation's largest single-day volunteer effort. It celebrates the connection between people and green space in their community, inspires environmental stewardship, and encourages the use of open space for education, recreation, and health benefits.

During this day, we offer a variety of volunteer opportunities at the park. These opportunities include:

  • Riverfront Clean-Up Registration Volunteers (5 volunteers needed)
  • Riverfront Clean-Up Volunteers (150 volunteers needed)
  • MonArch Migration Volunteers (5 volunteers needed)
  • B.A.R.K Ranger Volunteers (3 volunteers needed)

Note: There is no required uniform. Please dress for the appropriate weather. Face masks and social distancing are required when possible. If you do not have a mask, we will provide you with one.

Parking instructions will be provided in the email reminder 1 day before the event.
