Interested in learning what a wildlife rehabber does? In this position you will work closely with the rehabilitation staff as they perform daily tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining medical records, preparing and administering medications, cleaning enclosures, preparing meals, capturing and restraining animals, and daily housekeeping chores including laundry, dishes, and sweeping and mopping.
Preference will be given to those applicants with prior animal health experience in volunteer or professional settings or those interested in pursuing animal health as a career. This position requires an interview with management and rehab staff.
Must be 18 or older.
Current Openings:
Mornings (8 am- 1:00 with some flexibility): Friday
Evenings (3 pm- 8 pm With some flexibility): Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

Carolina Waterfowl Rescue (CWR) is non profit 501c3 wildlife rescue organization located in Charlotte, NC. CWR is run by federally licensed wildlife rehabilitators who provide sanctuary, rescue, and rehabilitation for wildlife, farmed, and exotic animals.
Description
Founded over 20 years ago, CWR is not only federally licensed to care for wildlife, but also accepts domestic animals that may otherwise not have sanctuary or medical care. Over the years we've helped countless chickens, ducks and geese as well as a variety of reptiles, and farm animals including an emu! Annually we admit over 7000 patients to our care.
