Come join Junior Achievement by volunteering to teach students around the Toledo region in the academic areas of business and creative problem solving.
JA is looking for individuals to teach one day a week for 5 weeks using a provided curriculum that focuses on one of two subjects.
JA Titan is a course that focuses on business strategies and how to compete in a virtual simulation on running the best company. Students learn how different departments collaborate to complete company tasks and what decisions need to be made to keep the business running.
JA Creative Problem Solving is a course that teaches students about the Design Thinking concept of thinking outside the box. Entrepreneurial concepts allow students to think creatively about solving community issues.
Volunteers do not need to be an expert in either subject, but bring valuable corporate, community or life knowledge to enhance the already provided and thorough curriculum.
