Splitlog Farm is an urban farm in Wyandotte County owned by Community Housing of Wyandotte County and managed by Kansas City Healthy Kids.

At our farm, we grow healthy food and provide it free of charge to area families. You're invited to help us on Thursday mornings harvest and prepare CSA bags for our neighbors. plant, weed, mulch and harvest with us to make KCK a healthier place to live!

Volunteer shifts available:
Thursdays--9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Feel free to bring your own water bottle, gloves and tools.

For more than 20 years, CHWC has been transforming vacant lots and blighted properties in Kansas City, KS, into thriving neighborhoods through building new and renovating existing market-rate housing and helping people achieve and sustain their dream of homeownership through homebuyer education and assistance and financial counseling. We also foster a sense of community by providing families with meaningful places to gather and interact with one another through our support of local parks, community gardens and arts programs. These combined strategies help make Kansas City, KS, a better place to live, work and play.
