Community Services Agency food pantry services 150-200 families a day with supplemental food. The Food and Nutrition Center volunteer tasks will vary from day to day depending on the shift and the daily need. Volunteers distribution preparation task include, packing produce, off-loading deliveries of volunteer drivers, receiving community donations, helping with food distribution to clients. All volunteers must wear closed toe shoes.

Volunteer opportunity days and times: Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm

Monday: 9am-12pm, 11am-2pm, 2:30pm-5pm

Tuesday: 9am-12pm, 1:30pm-4:30pm, 2:30pm-5pm

Wednesday: 9am-12pm, 2:30pm-5pm

Thursday: 9am-12pm, 11am-2pm, 2:30pm-5pm

Friday: 9am-12pm, 1:30pm-4:30pm

Volunteer Duties:

Pantry assistance volunteer: packing produce, assist in off-loading food donations with volunteer drivers, receiving community donations, checking expiration dates, receive and put away large deliveries from Second Harvest Food Bank, etc...

Distribution Volunteers: Distribution setup- Food put out in the parking lot for distribution, set up canopies and tables.

Distribution clean up- Clean tables, take down canopies and table, put away any leftover food from distribution.

Please note that shift may require some lifting up to 30lbs.

Must 18+ years of age
