Love animals and the outdoors? This position is perfect for the active, outdoor types who want a little exercise and fresh air! You will help care for our resident ambassador animals and the domestic animals waiting for adoption by providing food and fresh water, collecting eggs, and, at sunset, herding birds into predator proof enclosures. You may also clean cages of animals undergoing medical care.

You never know what you'll find at CWR but can always expect to see ducks, geese, chickens, swans, donkeys and other farm animals!

You will be working with a group of other volunteers on your shift under the guidance of an experienced shift leader.

High School students needing community service hours are welcome to apply with parental approval.

Unfortunately at this time Carolina Waterfowl Rescue does not provide volunteer hours for Court Appointed Community Service.

Shifts are seven days a week, either AM or PM 365 days a year, rain or shine.
