ORGANIZATION: EMO- HIV Services

We are in need of a volunteer who is interested in helping assist our clients in sewing individual quilt panels to be displayed as part of a large AIDS quilt. We are doing this in order to honor our clients who have survived the AIDS epidemic and the COVID-19 pandemic. We are looking for someone who is available to come in on a weekly or bi-weekly basis over the course of the next couple months to help facilitate this activity. We are also looking for fabric donations to use as materials for the panels.

The hours/days for this opportunity are flexible. The Day Center's hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm, and a half day on Wednesday (9am-12pm). Please reach out to the Day Center's volunteer coordinator Connor Leaf at cleaf@emoregon.org with any questions or respond to this posting if you are interested!
