Exhibit Opening Reception - Malinalli / Fighting against oppression.

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Museo de las Americas

Come meet the artists and curators! Malinalli is a powerful exhibit centered around the controversial female Aztec icon Malinalli and aimed at understanding the connection between stigma and oppression through the retelling of the story of this long stigmatized icon. If you are passionate about fighting back against systems of power, this is the right opportunity for you!

Volunteer Opportunity: Volunteers would be responsible for aiding in the preparation and development of the event. They would get the opportunity to get an exclusive first look at the exhibit, meet some of the artists and curators of the show as well as learn about the importance of muralism in social movements.
