Mentoring Black Girls

ORGANIZATION: Lincolnwood Elementary School

  • 31 people are interested

Seeking to create a digital space that centers the power, practice, and purpose of mentorship for, by, and amongst Black womxn & girls.
This is particularly important for our oldest girls, our 4th and 5th graders, who are seeking to form important connections in the world before leaving the comforts of our elementary school.
Being isolated for the past 18 months has been challenging for so many children. Now that we are all back in-person as a school community, we want to ensure real focus and direction for all children as they embark on the hard work of academic rigor.
