The Kennedale Senior Center is seeking an experienced community organizer with a heart for those in their golden years. We need someone extensive non-profit and fundraising expertise to help establish the first Kennedale Seniors Foundation to ensure the longevity of services. In addition, we are hoping to find someone willing to coordinate the volunteers necessary to sustain our operations.
If you are such an individual, with the legal and/or non-profit expertise necessary to help set up the Kennedale Seniors Foundation, the City of Kennedale wants to speak with you.
Opportunity:
-- Assist the Kennedale Seniors in forming a sustainable 501(c)3 non-profit Foundation that can partner with the City of Kennedale to ensure sustainable services.
-- Assist the Seniors in establishing red-tape free policies & procedures for operations and safe volunteer management.
-- Coordinate senior-led commitees for empowered programming that enriches their lives.

- Juris Doctorate preferred, Masters degree in non-profit management, social work, or other related field required.
