Help an adult to reach their goals. The Literacy Program is learner-centered program that relies on the help of volunteers. We support adults as they improve their reading and writing, their digital skills, brush up their English or prepare to take a standardized test. Some of our participants are studying for citizenship or High School Equivalency in Spanish so we love to hear from bilingual (Eng/Sp) tutors.
We offer virtual & in-person opportunities and you can work to your own schedule. Training and ongoing support are provided.
"My tutor kept calling me in the pandemic to ask if my family was safe. She helps me so much." - Erika
"The most valuable part of tutoring, for me, are the relationships I have made. I am still good friends with my first learner fifteen years later!" - Kay
Don't hesitate, help change a life today!
