Imagine not being able to read a job application, write a message to a loved one, or navigate the digital world with confidence. For many adults, these challenges are real-but with your support, they can overcome them. Our Adult Literacy Program is learner-centered and powered by volunteers like you!

We support adults as they:

  • Improve reading and writing skills
  • Build digital skills
  • Brush up on English
  • Prepare for citizenship, High School Equivalency, or other standardized tests

We especially welcome bilingual (Eng/Sp) volunteers to support learners studying for citizenship or High School Equivalency in Spanish.

Flexible & Supported Volunteering:

  • Virtual & in-person options
  • Set your own schedule
  • Orientation training & ongoing support provided

"The most valuable part of tutoring, for me, are the relationships I have made. I am still good friends with my first learner fifteen years later!" - Kay

Take the first step-volunteer today and help someone reach their goals!
