Description
The vision of the Pleasant Hill Community Foundation is an enhanced quality of life in Pleasant Hill, California through inspiring and nurturing its donors and resources to respond to the challenges and needs of the community. We annually present grant awards to educational, recreational, and cultural organizations that benefit the residents of Pleasant Hill. Grants are funded from the proceeds of our annual appeal letter sent to our supporters each winter. We have also been the major fundraiser for several large projects around our city. These include "Tiles at Pleasant Hill City Hall," "Playground at Pleasant Hill Park," "Save the Pool," "Let there be Lights," and "Sprayground at Pleasant Hill Aquatic Park." We are a total volunteer organization that is welcoming new members to our Board of Directors.
