We are a nonprofit farm animal sanctuary in Winston-Salem. We have rescued goats, mules, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and ducks. We are looking for volunteers to commit to a weekly or monthly minimum 2 hour visit to assist with animal care, feeding and cleaning.
Examples:
- Chop fresh fruits & veggies and hand out to animal residents.
- Fill feed and water bowls.
- Muck stalls and lay fresh hay.
- Clean rabbit trays and refresh bedding.
This is a great way to get outside, get some exercise, enjoy some mindless labor AND help us help more animals. No previous experience necessary!
We welcome families, seniors, and volunteer groups.
