Are you a devoted Labrador Retriever Lover? Help the Labs in need get ready for their annual fundraiser!

Lake Erie Labrador Retriever Rescue's annual fundraiser was cancelled last year due to the pandemic. This year it is on October 9th in Broadview Heights OH. Help is needed in loading raffle and silent auction items on a truck October 8th.

On October 9th in the morning, unloading of the truck and decorating and prepping the venue space needs to be done. Need folks willing to help with these activities.

Mission Statement

Lake Erie Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity with an all-volunteer staff and foster based program. It exists to provide rescue and adoption services for Labrador Retrievers or Lab mixes who are homeless, or whose owners have abandoned, or are about to abandon them in the community or to local animal control or other humane organizations. Provide education on the importance of vet care/spay and neuter and responsible pet ownership. Area of activity is northeastern Ohio and northwestern Pennsylvania.

Description

Lake Erie Labrador Retriever Rescue Inc. strives to decrease the amount of Labradors in need by rescuing them from local pounds and assisting owners who have to rehome their Lab for one reason or another. Through education and outreach at public events and through the adoption process, we educate the community and adopter on the importance of spay/neuter, proper veterinary care for preventative treatments such as vaccinations and heartworm prevention. The organization is also committed to providing information and support for dogs in need of training.

Monthly Meet and Greets at area pet stores provide an opportunity to socialize rescued dogs and educate the public.

Seasonal events - The Lab make appearances at area events to socialize rescued dogs and educate the public as well as find volunteers and fosters.
