50/50 Leadership's mission is to educate, inspire and promote women's leadership by providing programs that empower women in different circumstances and life stages. It was founded in 2004 and has accomplished much. We are almost entirely operated on volunteer-power, so need committed, energetic, social and passionate people to act as the trustees of the organization.

Bring your success, experience, talent, time and passion to this already vibrant team of women and men. Currently, our focus is on providing programs that move women to financial independence so they are free to realize their leadership potential. The women we are currently serving have overcome trauma, hardships and victimization.

For each position, we aim to have co-chairs to limit the burden and smooth transitions.

  • Marketing / PR
  • Development / Fundraising
  • Volunteers and Interns
  • IT / Technology
What we ask:
That you
  • Be a member in good standing and donate at the minimum level of $1,000 per year
  • Attend monthly board meetings - 3rd Monday of the month, 6:00 pm Pacific
  • Attend annual fundraising gala, invite your network to attend, and attend as many other events as possible
  • Lead an area/committee and collaborate with other board members

We have a 3-month trial where you and us can determine if it is a good fit. If it is, then we ask for a 2-year commitment, and that you assist in replacing yourself.

Let us know, and we will set up a call with Pauline Field, the Founder
Send us a bio, photo, CV, and statement of what you bring to the position and what you hope to accomplish
You will then attend a board meeting and be briefly interviewed by the board members
When voted in, we will set up an orientation and the 3-month trial will begin.

We are women and men from all walks of life who agree that leadership should reflect the gender of the population: women make up more than half of the U.S. population and should be equally included in boardrooms, elected offices, academia, and all public and private enterprises and endeavors.

We feel that every girl and woman should have the opportunity to realize their leadership potential. Whether they are a leader in their home, at work, school or in the community.
Since 2004 we have led leadership training programs; honored women who are making a difference around the world, and provide financial literacy programs to young women who have grown up in foster care, are homeless, have been incarcerated or who have escaped domestic violence or sex trafficking.
We provide programming to promote, inform, educate and inspire women to be leaders, and men to support them.
