We currently have two studies going on right now. For the first study you must be from China and have not lived outside China for more than 2 years. If you don't meet those requirements, information about the second study is below.

The second study uses fMRI, which is a non-invasive (no injections) method used to examine brain activity. The study involves 3 parts in this particular order:

  1. A ~half hour online demographic survey. You're paid $15 for this portion.
  2. A 2 hour Zoom session doing memory & executive function tasks with me. You're paid $30 for this portion.
  3. A 2 hour fMRI scanning session at Harvard University. You spend 1.5 hours in the fMRI scanner. The other half hour is spent getting ready. You're paid $60 for this portion.

You'll receive the full payment in cash at the end of the third portion. ($115)

The first step is making sure you're eligible. Please make sure you fit the criteria by emailing . You will be provided more in-depth information as well as a screening form.
