A man with ALS and his wife would love your help with a variety of indoor and outdoor tasks around their home! Assistance needed includes:
-Lawn mowing in the summer/fall, snow shoveling in the winter
-Gardening/weed pulling
-Running errands/picking up groceries
-Basic technology/online care calendar assistance
-Unpacking boxes
-Meal prep
-Helping the husband with hobbies, such as puzzles, woodworking, and sports
Due to the many possibilities available, please feel free to reach out if you have interest in assisting with ANY of these tasks: you would not need to do them all yourself! Any assistance you might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

Description
What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
