Administrative Assistant Volunteer needed for a GROWING hospice agency in the state of Michigan.
This position will serve our South region. Volunteer does not have to live in the direct area- Hours are flexible.
This position will support the Volunteer Coordinator and Administrative office staff with duties pertaining to the successful implementation of the Hospice Volunteer Program, meeting Medicare standards/requirements, and assisting with data entry re: incoming volunteer notes.
Administrative Assistant Volunteer will be given all equipment necessary to perform all functions of this position as well as access to programs for documentation/communication.
The ideal candidate will have office/healthcare experience, an understanding of technology (including online interface/EMR skills, Microsoft office skills, and the ability to adapt to technology quickly and efficiently), a good attitude when it comes to customer service/support, and an ability to manage tasks efficiently and independently with little supervision.
This task would be perfect for an INTERNSHIP in any of the following fields:
-Social Work
-Nursing
-Healthcare Administration
-Business Administration
-HR
-Marketing
-Medical sales
-Ministry/Chaplaincy
Should Administrative Assistant Volunteer be interested in pursuing this as an internship, the Hospice will work with any school/program to ensure requirements are being met.
All PPE necessary for the completion of these tasks will be provided by the Hospice in compliance with CDC recommendations r/t COVID-19
This position would be responsible for 10-12 hours weekly, but hours are flexible and can vary as needed.
