ORGANIZATION: New Moms

This would be a regular volunteering opportunity to work at New Moms' front desk. Most front desk assistants work one four-hour shift every week or every other week. Tasks include answering questions about New Moms, letting people in and keeping an eye out for the safety of our building and our moms, forwarding calls, sorting mail and receiving packages, and helping the moms with any questions they may have. This position would require training.

2 Shifts

  • 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM
    This opportunity requires at least three hours of training
  • 01:00 PM to 05:00 PM
    This opportunity requires at least three hours of training

Description

New Moms equips struggling, impoverished adolescent parents (aged 13-24) and their children with the personal and workforce development tools they will need, to permanently change their life stories from chronic dependence on society, to economic independence and family stability.
