Looking for a passionate and experienced volunteer to support our work, over a few months and potentially longer, specifically with -
- 2-3 social media posts a week (posts, stories, reels, IGTV, surveys, Live chats) etc
- planning a social media strategy together
- Google Ads
- keywords and negative keywords etc to set up on Google Ads
- working with analytics: Google analytics, Instagram and Facebook analytics and potentially paid promotions analytics on social media
- getting social media pages to get a "Verified" badge
- getting social media "Donate" buttons
- assistance writing crowdfunding posts (optional)

We chose the name Give the World as it perfectly embodies exactly what it is that we as an organisation want to do. We want to give to the world, and give people their world. Through education, mentorship, food security and empowerment, we aim to give a world of hope, opportunity and freedom from poverty to vulnerable and disadvantaged children and communities. We are dedicated to alleviating extreme poverty and this is our commitment and call to action to act now and ensure a better world for children and the generations to come. We believe in empowering children with skills and education to create a better life for themselves, and thereby their families and communities. Improving their world and the world around them - a ripple effect, and it can start with us. We believe no act is too small and that together we can make a difference.
Description
Our main activity is supporting tertiary education in South Africa by funding highly talented students who’re in financial need. Other activities include funding school children in the extremely poverty-stricken country of Zimbabwe, and also funding basic needs like food and hygiene for children in non-fee-paying South African schools.
