Our Transport department is looking for volunteers to assist with the transporting of patients within the hospital via wheelchair. Transporters also pick up and deliver lab specimens and pharmacy supplies to various departments within the hospital.
You will have lots of patient and staff contact. Customer service skills are a must! Proof of Covid vaccines and must have an annual flu shot. Must be able to walk and push patients in wheelchairs.
We have both morning and afternoon shifts available. Masks must be worn during your shift.

Description
One of the most important sources of energy and support in our hospital is our team of wonderful volunteers. They offer their time, energy and smiles to our staff. Our volunteers greet visitors, deliver flowers to patient rooms, work in our gift shop, transport patients, sort and deliver hospital mail, help with events and support our programs. We have a variety of opportunities and would love to meet you. There's no better way to spend your free time than helping someone have a better day.
