ORGANIZATION: Homeless Engagement & Lift Partnership Inc.

Building lunch bag size Helpsnackz Bags with non-perishable foods that will be delivered to the Homeless & 'At Risk' children at 21 school districts throughout Maricopa & Pinal County. These empowering Helpsnackz Bags come with positive & uplifting messages that are given out to these specific homeless and ' At Risk' students who attend school each day before they leave for the day. This gives them something to eat later in the day, and is a bridge until the next school day. We provide over 26,000 Helpsnackz Bags per month to the children. We really need assistance with the empowering positive messages. The volunteer opportunities last for up to 2 hours. From 9:30 am-11:30am. Any amount of time you can join us during these hours are greatly appreciated. Children are also welcome to join in and help us engage in the fight against childhood homelessness. This is a family friendly event and there are volunteer opportunities for both the young and not so young.

Please take a look at the 1 minute video from a past event. It is family friendly, and children ages 5 and above are also involved with our junior teams.

We are also looking for Team Leads for our monthly Helpsnackz Assembly Events. 4 hours total once a month on the second Saturday of every month through May 2022. Then, we will start up again on the 2nd Saturday in July 2022. Please let us know if you have interest in becoming a team lead.
