SMP, the Senior Medicare Patrol (non-profit) is a group of volunteers trained to educate and inform Medicare beneficiaries on how to combat fraud and waste of their Medicare dollars. This is a national program funded through a federal grant awarded by the Administration on Aging, www.smpresource.org.
Why fight Medicare fraud? Because it’s your money, and dishonest use of Medicare dollars negatively impacts both consumers and health care professionals.

SMP is always in need of volunteers to help in our office located in Richmond. We need help preparing for events, sending out promotional materials across the state and making "goodie" bags. We also are looking for volunteers to help with our social media campaign, office tasks, working with spreadsheets and Microsoft platform.
