Brookdale Hospice is seeking Veteran volunteers to support our Veteran patients. With so many veterans in our community, you have a real opportunity to honor a veteran by providing a listening ear and creating a sacred space that only another veteran can give. As a Veteran-to-Veteran Hospice Volunteer, you’re provided with training to spend time with these Veterans as they near the end of their lives. This opportunity is very flexible to the time you have available. If you are interested please call our office at (248) 727-2323 or email email@example.com

Brookdale Senior Living's Mission Statement is: Enriching the lives of those we serve with compassion, respect, excellence and integrity. Hospice is about living life to the fullest with dignity and comfort. Volunteers are an integral part, and are a fully integrated component, of our Brookdale hospice teams. Volunteering is more about BEING than DOING - it's about listening and offering support to our patients - it's about helping them tell their story.
Our hospice agency in Southfield Michigan is part of Brookdale's team of 21 hospice agencies nationwide.
Our Goals of Hospice are: self-determined life closure; a natural death; safe and comfortable dying; effective grieving.
