Everyone has a story and every day, someone new walks through our door, sharing their stories and dreams. We believe mentors are key to a successful program at the Women's Business Center. We are providing one-on-one mentoring relationships in helping these entrepreneurs become successful in their business. We help the "Dreamers", the "Start-ups" and also those with established businesses by mentoring them through the stages of what their business might need whether it's writing a business plan, creating a website or whatever else they need each step along the way. We help the entrepreneur where they are at. Our mentors don't need to know all of the skills and steps, just be willing to guide our clients in the right director in their business. We understand that one might be skilled in marketing but not have much of a clue with financing...that's ok. We need the mentor that can share the skill he or she has. Possibly you have a specialized skill or business field or possibly you want to help in the broader, more general aspect of entrepreneurship, we need both types of mentors.
