Florida Resurrection House needs you!
Join "Team Fix-It": volunteers willing to be called upon, as needed, to help with basic maintenance / repairs /upkeep of our property.
Basic jobs could include changing light bulbs or a/c filters, basic maintenance, repairing drywall, minor plumbing and carpentry, clearing or cleaning general areas, shifting/assembling furniture or equipment - or other minor tasks that may arise on our 15-unit apartment campus.
Your help will reduce our costs in staff time and allow repairs to be made in a timely manner. Flexible hours based on your schedule. Preference for weekday availability during our office hours, Monday- Thursday, 9am - 5pm. Evenings/weekends are also welcome.
Timing will change, depending on the project need. If you're only available during certain days/times each week, we'd still love your help.

Description
At Florida Resurrection House we support families working to change their lives. We believe this work creates a more just and productive Tampa Bay.
We serve families experiencing homelessness with custody of minor children living at or below the federal poverty level who reside in Pinellas, Pasco, or Hillsborough County.
Florida Resurrection House works to end the cycle of generational poverty and build long term stability for families in the Tampa Bay area. We achieve this by:
-offering safe and peaceful transitional housing
-providing intensive case management
-connecting families with wrap around therapeutic services
-incorporating life skills and continuing education
-acting as a supportive community while families do the hard work of changing their lives.
