ORGANIZATION: CORTLAND COUNTY AREA AGENCY ON AGING'S VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM

Volunteers are needed to assist homebound clients of the Area Agency on Aging with their grocery shopping needs. Time commitment needs vary and are mutually agreed upon between the client and volunteer. Generally, shopping occurs once a week or every 2 weeks.

Make a Difference in Your Community!

The Cortland County Area Agency on Aging's Volunteer Engagement Program provides opportunities for people age 18 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. Volunteers contribute by serving in various roles within county departments, helping to meet critical community needs. Our Volunteer Program offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. Our Volunteer Program matches the personal interests and skills of community members with opportunities in various county departments. On-the-job training/orientation will be provided from the department where volunteers are placed.
