Our Loving Hearts Inc need interns to work with us. A non-profit outreach to help the community, with a mission to provide food for the homeless and seniors, to build confidence and hope in the children who have lost theirs. This position reports to Loretta Wilkins. While the position is unpaid, you will gain valuable hands-on experience + course credit. And there may be a stipend here and there. Not guaranteed!!!

Mission Statement

Our Loving Hearts, mission is to feed and clothe the homeless, support the seniors, and other individuals who may be in need of support in the community and surrounding areas.

Description

We have worked with Gateway Shelter, we feed the homeless on the streets of Atlanta. We deliver boxes to the at 3 senior's building. We did a function for the kids on April 17, 2021 in Peoples Town/Summerhill gave out bookbags w/school supplies and lunches. And we have several events coming up that we need volunteers for . We work to help others in and around our community and other area as needed and what we are able to do. I am also would like to start a program to help women on the streets, and who are been abused by trafficking, and other abuse situation. I am really interested in people and how to make their lives better if I can with help of other like minded people
