OLUNTEER SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Love Horses? Love Social Media?
California-based Nonprofit Animal Guardians Horse Rescue is looking for a motivated, passionate Remote Volunteer to help build our organization's voice and drive donations on social media platforms.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in building a portfolio, and working under an experienced marketing veteran who spent over a decade working at top ad agencies in New York City building blue chip brands and campaigns. You can be as involved in the marketing of the organization as you'd like, and add impressive stats and results to your resume.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Post 4-8x per month on Facebook & Instagram
- Create online Fundraisers on Facebook as needed
- Create social media strategy for Giving Season (November/December)
- Assist with Content Creation and Captions, leveraging existing Campaign Materials and new ideas
Total Monthly Time: 10-15 hours

Animal Guardians Horse Rescue, Inc. provides sanctuary to local senior equines in need, while connecting our Southern California community through purpose and service.
Description
We are a small 501(c)3 public non-profit organization for equine sanctuary and community service in Simi Valley, CA. All equines are fostered and boarded privately locally. We are a member of The Homes For Horses Coalition, the HSUS Safe Stalls Network, the HSUS Fund For Animals Forever Foundation Training Program, the ASPCA Horse Action Team, & a Parelli Foundation Grant Recipient. We are an Adoptions Partner with Ventura, L.A., Santa Barbara, San Bernadino County Animal Services / ACC. We are beginning a new EAL Program called Horse Powered Reading for summer enrichment for youth in our community.
