Mission Statement
The Upside Project’s primary purpose is to spread positivity among communities and empower people of all ages to extend their appreciation and love for others. We aim to elevate people’s spirits and strengthen our community with a collection of student work including, but not limited to: poetry, short stories, artwork, and spoken word performances.
Description
The Upside Project’s student teams will be producing original works featuring inspirational and encouraging themes. Think Dr. Seuss - but even better. These pieces will be distributed all throughout the lower mainland, from schools to malls and everywhere else in between. While our focus to begin will be on the most disadvantaged communities, our ultimate goal is to reach exactly 2,759,385 people - the approximate population here in the lower mainland.
