ORGANIZATION: Ten Lives Cat Rescue

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate volunteers to join our foster team. Foster families provide safe and loving homes for our cats or kittens until they find adoptive homes. At this time, volunteer fosters must be located in Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information so that your foster can be placed in the best-matched adoptive home
  • Provide medical care and/or socialization as needed
  • Transport or facilitate transportation to/from veterinary appointments. We have transport volunteers available to help!
  • Administer flea prevention and dewormer according to rescue protocols

Ten Lives Cat Rescue covers all veterinary costs. Thanks to our generous donors, we are able to provide food, litter, and other supplies to foster families. If you are interested in joining our foster team, please click the link below and complete our foster application!

Mission Statement

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is committed to saving homeless, abused, and abandoned cats by providing veterinary care, rehabilitation services, and then placing them into loving adoptive homes. We are dedicated to giving a second chance to those who have been forgotten: seniors, the physically and emotionally scarred, the behaviorally challenged, and those who need critical medical care. Along with our immediate mission to rescue cats, Ten Lives is dedicated to educating communities about cat overpopulation and inspiring change.

Description

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. We are dedicated to providing dignity to cats in our community while reducing the stray cat population and inspiring change. Ten Lives was founded in 2018 and has provided vital services to more than 2,000 cats and facilitated nearly 1,400 adoptions. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered and community supported. All of our vital life-saving funds come from generous supporters who believe in our mission statement.
