We are a social change organization dedicated to bettering the lives of women and girls through leadership, financial resilience, recovery and emotional first aid offerings! Our mission is to empower women to uncover, rediscover and reclaim their whole selves.
We are looking for someone who has a knack for storytelling, who can visually paint our story arch as an organization.
So here is the deal, we are nearing our 22nd birthday and need a video producer to compile and organize all of the videos and photographs that have been taken over the last two decades to showcase our evolution as a community! Over the years we have hosted retreats, potlucks, gardening days, and classes, all of which have been recorded through the lens of the camera.
The ground work is done, we have all of the files already.... We just need you to sort through and artfully display them to convey Shakti Rising through the ages, in all of our woo-woo wonder!
If you have a combination of these skills, we would love to connect...
- A creative eye
- Organizational skills to sort hundreds of files of raw media
- Technical details needed to comprise a 5-7 minute video
- Experience producing and post editing media on software such as Adobe and Final Cut Pro
- Content Strategy
- Ability to produce on a deadline
- Communication is a must!
- Storytelling

Description
Shakti Rising is active across the USA. We work with volunteers from all over the United States and beyond. We have three program areas: Transformational Recovery, Shakti Feminine University, and Transformation Through Service. Our three programs support women and the larger community to dive deeply into their own personal recovery, education, and leadership development. Our volunteer program is a leadership program, we are a living laboratory of leading from the feminine.
