Are you looking for a way to connect with people?

Join our team as a Friendly Call Volunteer and have a positive impact on a patient and/or caregiver's feeling of connection and well-being. Friendly Call Volunteers are paired with patients for weekly phone visits where you will provide social support and friendship by connecting with the same patient once a week.

Friendly Call Volunteers find the experience uniquely rewarding!

Qualifications: Be a good listener, Be comfortable talking on the phone, Positive attitude, and Flexibility.

All adults age 18 and older are welcome to apply.

At Encompass Health Hospice a coordinated team of caring professional hospice experts are dedicated to providing physical, psychological, spiritual and emotional comfort to patients and their loved ones.

Our team includes volunteers that may provide non-medical services and respite time to caregivers and family while also providing much-needed companionship to the patient and their loved ones.
