** All volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination is required. Masks will also continue to be worn by all staff, volunteers and donors.
Volunteer drivers transport blood to hospitals within a multi-county radius, pick up blood at area mobile blood drives , and/or pick up blood and drop off cases at ImpactLife donor centers.
Choose one of our AVAILABLE recurring runs:
- Every Other Monday 8:30a to Dubuque
- Tuesdays 8:30a to Cedar Rapids
- Every Other Wednesday 9:30 Local (Iowa)
- Wednesdays 11:00 to Macomb
- Every Other Thursday 8:30 to Iowa City
In addition, ImpactLife is looking for drivers to sub on local QC hospital delivery runs and to help w/area Mobile pick-ups. Might also be called on to sub on other outlying delivery runs when available.
*Driving Record/Background Check prior to starting
*Must be at least 25 yrs old for insurance purposes
Use of ImpactLife Vehicle - Gas Card provided. Time off when needed. New "Volunteer Driver" polo & sweatshirt provided at no cost.

Description
The Blood Center is a volunteer-based organization that involves volunteer blood donors, a voluntary board of trustees, and community volunteers. Volunteers provide a much needed and valued service to our donors, patients and staff. We serve over 115 hospitals in 4 states and utilize volunteers from many areas to assist in our operations. Headquarters for the organization, as well as component processing, is located in Davenport, Iowa.
