After School Tutor Monitor

Voice of Hope Ministries

Volunteers will provide support to tutors as they help scholars with their homework and school subjects. The monitor will help with both in-person and virtual tutoring and will need to have a basic understanding of computers and the zoom platform. Monitors must have a high school degree and will need to complete a Background Check. This opportunity will also require some training for after-school licensing.
Please be sure to complete the application and provide the days you are available.
Shifts are Monday-Friday 2:30-6:30 pm

Mission Statement

Voice of Hope Ministries exists to extend the love of Jesus Christ by nurturing and training children through Biblical teaching, Christian character models, life skills coaching and educational support.


Voice of Hope is a Christian non-profit that serves the Dallas community with the goal of "changing lives, one child at a time".

Core programs include:

  • ASPIRE after school program that provides tutoring, life lessons and a healthy meal each school day to 200 children
  • Summer Day Camp offers a safe and Christ centered program of learning and fun every June - July.
  • Family and Community Services offers fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods, a weekly Women's Bible study and other support services.
