The Animal Pad

The Animal Pad is looking for another Transportation Coordinator to join our team! We have one Transport Coord already and she is amazing, and will continue to be the person who gets all of our interested Transporters set up on our Slack workspace. We utilize a specific channel within Slack where transport requests for TAP foster dogs are posted, and then claimed by transport volunteers able to offer a lift to a pup in need!

This Transportation Coordinator would specifically focus on and actively reach out to our Transporters who are NOT on (or active on) Slack. Reaching out to the Transporters via text will likely be the most efficient option for this role. This volunteer would be a part of the transport request channel on Slack, and would reach out to our TAP Transporters from the spreadsheet when requests go unanswered on Slack. This role is strictly remote, so no need to be local to San Diego!

About The Animal Pad

Mission Statement

The Animal Pad is a non profit, all breed dog rescue based in San Diego, California. We are 100% Volunteer Run, donation based and we rescue dogs primarily from the streets of Mexico.

Here at TAP, we give voice to the voiceless and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find them the best homes possible.

The Animal Pad was founded in 2010 and we are 100% Volunteer Run and Donation Based. We rescue dogs primarily off the streets of Mexico. In addition to rescuing, we have an activism arm called TAPACT where we bring the Community together to tackle issues that affect dogs in hopes to evoke permanent change. Here at TAP, we give voice to the voiceless and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find them the best homes possible.
